SUPER PEACE BUSTERS
Ghost
My tale is a ghost story
Restless soul of mine
Neither satanic nor divine
I am the vengeance of a happy life
I am human
Trust
What good is the trust we’ve gathered
We don’t speak on things ever
5 years from now
Will we sit and laugh together?
Will you trust me to treat you better?
Forgiveness
If people change
And are met with negative responses
Do they change for a third time?
Do they revolt?
Why must I forgive you for hurting me
When you haven’t forgiven me for meeting you
A nonexistent friendship
Built on forgiveness and favors
Winter
It rained on my Christmas this year
On my wishlist was snow
But little did I know
This winter was my last
Only a matter of time
before Kami takes his toll
Spring
Bring me happiness
The calm before the desert storm
Springtime in silent saloons
Why must my damndest emotions act reckless
Fireworks
The pretty colors in your eyes
remind me of fireworks
The explosion of color in your pupils
Vibrant beyond imagination
By morning they’re golden rose colored
But by breakfast they turn a hazel like green
For lunch they were ocean eyes
And by dinner your beautiful brown eyes
Finally met mine
River
Take me to your river
Carry my heart upstream
It beats for you
Until you leave
Take me to your river
And teach me to float
Betting on us
Do you see them out there
They’re betting on us
Tomorrow is our child
And there’s no need to rush
Can you hear the loud chants
They’re betting on us
Our future lies within
And it’s one we must trust
Can you feel the love
It’s betting on us
Hand in hand we change the world
Success is a must
Do you feel the aura
Of success, tomorrow, love, and trust?
Together we stand
brothers and sisters nonetheless
You all took a bet on us
And together we did our best
The Flower
The flower we saw that day
In the parked we claimed as our own
One by one our hands let go of one another
If we learned the name
Of the flower we saw that day
Conversations in the dark
Flashlights act as our stars
We tell stories of future ventures
Based in friendships that never did last
If only we learned the name
Of the flower we saw that day
After some time apart
the jokes don’t sound the same
Our paths haven’t crossed
and we still haven’t learned the name
of the flower we saw that day
